About High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (HSASJTU)
Founded in 1954, The High School Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University (HSASJTU) is a public boarding school directly administrated by both Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. In 2005, HSASJTU has been nominated as one of the first Shanghai Experimental Model High Schools. In 2011, the school started implementing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) to enrich the curriculum development with an emphasis on integration of localized international education. HSASJTU also offers exchange programs promoting students’ international visions with high schools in the U.S., U.K., Singapore and other countries. The school has four campuses: the main campus locates in Baoshan District, the two national curriculum sub‐campuses locate in Minhang and Jiading District, and the IB Curriculum Center utilizes both the independent campus in Yangpu and the main campus in Baoshan. Thanks to the excellent teaching staff and faculty, the strong support from SJTU and the advanced education vision, HSASJTU has achieved continuously outstanding college matriculation results. 90% of the National Curriculum students entered the national first‐class universities including Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, while 70% of the international curriculum students entered worldwide first‐class universities including Yale University, Columbia University, University of Chicago, University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of Toronto, and etc.
