FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
School Directors
Other school leaders (Diploma Programme Coordinator)
Heads of Department
Teachers
Administration team (HR, facilities)
University counselling team
Key Performance Indicators:
• International Division teaching and learning is in line with IB policies and practices
• International Division students’ have high academic outcomes
• International Division runs effectively and efficiently
• High student enrolment numbers
Qualifications and Training:
• Bachelor level degree in a subject area
• Internationally recognised teacher training qualification
• Further education qualification (Masters etc)
Experience :
• Experience of working in an IB school
• Experience of working in an international school
• Experience of working in China
• Experience of working in a bilingual school
• Substantial and successful experience in a senior leadership role e.g. as a International Principal, or Deputy/Assistant Headteacher / Principal
• Evidence of managing or making a substantial contribution to the effective management of change
• Evidence of successful implementation of strategies to improve teaching and learning to raise the standards of achievement for all students
• Evidence of effective teaching, assessment and target setting.
• Evidence of successful improvement planning across all / most sectors of a school
• Evidence of working with parents and the community as partners in learning
