Summarized Job Description:
Teach students at various levels to learn . Be able to give a Native-English environment and guarantee the quality of education;
Prepare lesson plans in advance that teach core objectives and principles that are relevant to future education, also showing students how this knowledge is useful in the real world;
Be responsible for implementing the courses, assessment and reporting process;
Contribute to curriculum, assessment and materials development;
Track and report performance data to determine where changes need to be made and which strategies and methods are working;
Attend staff meetings or program support activities as needed;
Contribute to extra-curricular activities and events. Attend special events held by the school and engage with students and their parents in an appropriate, friendly way;
Develop stable, solid relationships with students with appropriate boundaries so they know you are available to help them when they need it;
Promote parent/teacher/student associations and encourage students and their guardians to get involved in the school.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or above, major in related field;
At least 2 years of experience in teaching related subjects in the curriculum in AP, IB or Alevel;
Native English speaker preferred; Certified teachers (AP Reader/IB certified teacher) are strongly preferred;
High level of initiative and ability to work well in a team;
Understand the difference of teaching systems and methods between Chinese and western and be willing to accept new teaching modes;
Demonstrated cross-cultural awareness and understanding.
